I can't believe that Sagume is JoJo trash. What Sagume calls her ability is that in canon, simply be speaking about a situation, the world itself will change so the exact opposite of what she says will happen. For example, in canon, she states that the heroine(s) wouldn't be able to defeat the next bosses, solely so they would go and defeat them. She's a really niche kind of god in Japanese mythos.
Name: Ame no Sagume/Sagume Kishin
Titles: Ame no Sagume, The Goddess Who Invites Unfortunate Slips of the Tongue, Lunar Guardian, The One-Winged White Heron
Alias: Sagi (translates to Heron), Yakubyougami (translates to Jinx)
Age: Uncertain, but has existed since humans existed in Japan
Class: Caster
Noble Phantasm: The Wheel of Fortune Turning Over. An egg with a golden arrow pierced through, with the legend of Ame no Sagume written in ink on the egg. Much like the Wheel of Fortune card, Sagume’s noble phantasm is about random change, and was generated by sealing Sagume’s ability to warp the world around her. It generally fires energy orbs out of Yin-Yang balls, but the effects it gives Sagume are randomized, varying from attack, magic, or defense boosts to healing to a temporary shield to depleting half of her current magic energy or even getting hit with some of her own magic.
However, it does release an attack that will cause some damage to her opponent, in addition to the various effects.
History: Sagume is the protector of the Moon and a divine spirit known as a goddess. Her legend features her telling the god she was a messenger to that a heron was untrustworthy, and the god killed the heron with an arrow (and the heron turned out to be a messenger to a higher god). Since then, she has guarded the Moon from invaders. She is said to be the progenitor of the amanojaku race, a group of youkai known for lying with a similarity in appearance to the oni. She has the ability to fire magical balls of energy with powers like homing magic, trick magic, and her magic is in patterns.
Personality: Sagume is a careful thinker due to her ability, and watches what she says, though that ability is gone since being summoned as a servant. Thus, she doesn't speak that often unless she thinks it is necessary. She tends to think along the lines that “the means justify the ends,” and rarely cares how something is done if she needs to do something. She seeks what is best for her Master, and seeks to grant her Master’s wish, regardless of the other lives lost. She can seem like an older sister figure, but if something doesn’t go as she planned (particularly if she is complimented), she can show a flustered side.
Goal: She wants her ability permanently gone.
